Well, last week I feel as though we went directly from Winter into Summer, completely missing Spring altogether and that was good news for my Victoria clients Eve and Mark. Tuesday, June 7th was their Wedding Day and the sun was coming out to play. What an amazing day to say ” I Do” and what better a venue than a beach in Tofino with white capped waves giving us a stunning backdrop–what more could we have asked for?
Well Chris Pouget from Coast-Image Photography might have been happier with perhaps a cloud or two and a little less wind but none the less he worked his magic with his Nikon lenses and captured those magic moments shared between Mark and Eve. This photo was alas from my Blackberry as I have not got Chris’s yet and I just wanted to whet your appetite to come back and see some more when I get the professional ones in a few days.
One of my absolutely favourite moments as a Wedding Planner is the look of Love on the Groom’s face as he catches the first image as his wife to be slowly makes her way towards him, and the sheer unadulterated raw admiration that escapes him unknowingly is priceless.
I feel very humbled to be a part of such an intimate experience of celebration and love every moment of it, I could not be happier doing anything else. When I receive some of Chris’ pics I will continue on with more of Mark & Eve’s Wedding Story so please check back in a few days!
