Lisa was stunning and was not concerned about a little bit of rain. Earlier, Lisa and her mum Cindy had some special Mother/Daughter time while @ Studio One Aveda Salon with Petra doing Lisa’s hair and make-up.
Lisa wanted a bouquet with purple and mauve’s and Flowers by Sandra designed just that with matching purple boutonniere for Cody.
Local rental company Smashing Glasses set up a couple of canopy tents on Cox Bay right in front of Pacific Sands Resort just in case the west coast weather decided to show it’s true colours. And yes as you can see the tent was definitely needed.
Lisa and Cody’s wedding theme was butterflies and to celebrate this they released 10 Monarch Butterflies right after the ceremony, they were a little sleepy but all flew away after entertaining us all with their antics.
Local baker Jeni Christie followed through with this theme by designing 3 dimensional butterflies all hand painted that decorated the beautiful cake—great job Jeni!
A luncheon celebration was held at Shelter Restaurant , where the log fire and great food completed the perfect day.
Below there are a few more pictures captured by local photographer Michael Farrow who was having a lot of fun with Lisa and Cody’s children before going of into the forest for some colour shots.

Is this not a great moment?
