Tanya and Mark on Middle Beach in Tofino Saying “I DO”

My Man

I had the most fun meeting Tanya and Mark on Saturday for a quick rehearsal and to decide on location. Tanya and I had been emailing for awhile but I had never spoken to Mark, and immediately felt at ease with him; Mark you have the greatest laugh that surrounds everyone in your company leaving all of us, with that comfortable feeling of knowing you, whether we had known you for ever or in my case just met. And considering you got out of the water after surfing all morning at 2.30pm and got married at 4pm–I am thinking you had the best day!

Tanya you looked absolutely stunning and Petra at Studio One did a great job on your hair, very unique and modern. Your dress was so elegant, I especially liked the detail on the front. Anglican Minister Joan Scandrett had been working with you both prior to the ceremony via skype and with Marks’ laughter made her job easy, she was having as much fun as you were, especially when you dipped Tanya  to “seal the kiss”.

I got You!

Thank you Chris Pouget for the interesting shots, this was one couple that you did not have to talk into smiling for the camera, I cannot wait to see some more. Local videographer Cameron Dennison was never far away from all of the special moments that were to tell the story of a couple in love for years to come, I might even be able to upload a small clip to put on this blog! The sky was a little cloudy, but perfect in the eyes of Chris and with the accompaniment of the lush bouquet of red roses designed by Teu @ Crabapple Floral, the dramatic effect especially in B & W could not have been better.

Here’s Looking at You!
Love

The tide was out and the tide pools were all around keeping the younger guests intrigued.

I have not spoken to the Happy Couple today but am sure they are relaxing after their wonderful reception dinner held at Shelter Restaurant—-Thank you for helping me tell your Wedding Day Story!
